How Mudjacking Works
Step 1: Find the area/slab that is lacking the proper amount of fill needed to keep your concrete at the proper level.
Step 2: After successfully locating the problem areas, we will use a small drill bit, typically less than 2″-3″ across, to drill holes into your concrete.
Step 3: Once all the holes are drilled, we will inject a mix of concrete & soil into the holes.
Step 4: As we inject the mixture, your concrete slabs will begin to raise – allowing us to strategically level each slabbed as needed. Believe it or not, this often just requires us to walk or jump on the slabs to get them level.
Step 5: After we have leveled each concrete slab, we will fill in and patch each hole so that it’s barely noticeable. If you have colored concrete, we will even do our best to match to color of the patched holes to the concrete color. And that’s it. You’ll be leveled out in no time! And definitely cheaper, more affordable, easier, and faster than replacing your concrete.
Step 6: We’ll clean up after ourselves so you’re not left with a big mess. All we need is access to a hose.
